I had a wonderful stay at the cottages and I was impressed by the beautiful decor and comfortable furniture. The cottage I stayed in was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything I needed to cook meals. The bathroom was stunning with a double shower. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and even showed me another cottage that I hope to book for my next stay. The location was peaceful and there was off-street parking available. I had a great experience at Blacksmiths Cottages and I highly recommend it.

The cottage was beautifully decorated and the furniture and beds were comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well stocked with cutlery and utensils. The bathroom was stunning and the hosts were very helpful. Location-wise, it was easy to get to nearby towns and attractions.
It would have been helpful to have a shelf for toiletries in the bathroom and some of the crockery should have been placed on a lower shelf for shorter guests. the noise from the fridge disturbed our sleep.

Stayed at a holiday home with a lovely terrace and free WiFi. Had my own washing machine and a cozy seating area. Oh, and let's not forget the excitement of free private parking!
Shame there wasn't a helicopter pad on the terrace, would have made my getaway so much easier.

The cottage had a great location for exploring the nearby towns and attractions, including Filey, Bridlington, and Scarborough. the beds were very comfortable, and the decor was beautiful, creating a cozy atmosphere. the kitchen was well-stocked with everything needed for cooking a meal. The bathroom was stunning, with its modern features and high standard of finish. the hosts were also very helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay.
The cottage lacked some necessary shelf space in the bathroom for toiletries, which would have been convenient.

The bungalow at Blacksmiths Cottages in Filey was such a cozy little retreat! The seating area was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring, and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook up my own meals. I loved having a tea/coffee maker right at my fingertips - it made mornings so much better!
The only thing I didn't love about the bungalow was the electric kettle. It's just a personal thing, but I prefer a stovetop kettle for a more traditional tea-making experience.

The cottage had a beautiful terrace, perfect for sipping wine and enjoying the free WiFi. And guess what? It even had a washing machine! Because nothing says vacation like doing laundry.
Oh, how I loved having a bungalow with a seating area! It was so spacious and comfortable.

The seating area in this bungalow was so cozy, I felt right at home. The kitchen was well-equipped and the tea/coffee maker was a nice touch. It was a great place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring.
Personally, I found the presence of a dishwasher in the bungalow unnecessary. But I understand that some guests may appreciate this feature.

We absolutely loved our romantic escape at this cottage! The decor was beautiful and the furniture and beds were so comfy. We found everything we needed in the well-stocked kitchen, and the bathroom was stunning with a double shower. The location was great, with easy access to nearby towns and attractions. The off-street parking was a bonus, and we also enjoyed the quiet side street and large, well-kept garden at the back.
While we had a fantastic stay, there were a couple of things that we found slightly inconvenient. It would have been helpful to have a shelf for toiletries in the bathroom, and some of the crockery could have been placed on a lower shelf for easier access.
